»» QSat™ Service Advantages
• Quick establishment of new sites.
• Rapid installation of equipment at the customers premises with limited
infrastructure.
• Availability (99.9 %) is far better than the availability of ground
networks.
• Large bandwidths allow high traffic speed and density.
• Independence from earth networks and infrastructure.
• Competitive Costs. Unlike traditional terrestrial services, the
monthly charge for VSAT services is distance independent. Whether sites
are 50km or 1000km away, you pay the same for VSAT services. The fixed
and competitive pricing ensures that there are no annual budget
overruns.
• Centralized Network Management. Overall network management at the
central hub keeps track of the status of all network elements, with
single point of contact for all network issues. Hence, any outages can
be detected early and faults proactively and promptly rectified.

AIC is located in the Middle East; Our hub is in the Middle East; Our
targeted clients are located in the Middle East
This reduces a lot of incidental expenses. AIC has established strong
partnerships with QTel, ViaSat and Intelsat which enables us to pass on
all of the savings directly to our customers as well as offer a
simplified process for ordering, installing and managing the VSAT
services.
When it comes down to cost, making general comparisons between VSAT
services and their terrestrial equivalents is almost impossible. Charges
for terrestrial services are nearly always distance-dependent, while
VSAT connections cost the same whether sites are 1 or 1,000 miles apart.
And with most VSAT services, the cost per connection comes down
considerably when a customer adds users. |
